I thrive from helping couples and individuals heal from life stressors, strengthen connections, and increase resiliency.

Friends and clients describe me as warm, compassionate, insightful, and trustworthy. I am trained in a wide range of evidenced-based therapeutic modalities and I am mainly influenced by Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR). I have over 19 years of experience working in direct practice settings, including psych emergency, intensive case-management, and community mental health.

I am a mother of two children and I enjoy helping others adjust to parenting. I received a Bachelor’s of Psychology at UC San Diego and a Master’s of Social Welfare at UC Berkeley. I became a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in 2008 by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences. I love spending time with my family and friends, getting out in nature, and discovering new places.
